​Artistree Community Arts Center & Gallery – South Pomfret, Vermont

The Artistree Community Arts Center and Gallery was a unique project. Architect George Turner (River Town Design) transformed a four story barn into a visual and performing arts center. JFPCS designed efficient heating, cooling and ventilation systems for the facility. Much of the building was left open to display the rustic barn frame interior. In doing so, a high performance envelope allowed mechanical systems to be minimized. Radiant heated floors and a heat recovery ventilation system provide comfort and excellent indoor air quality for occupants.
