Commissioning Services

JFPCS’ commissioning experience evolved from our mechanical engineering practice. We were one of the first firms on the east coast to offer this service.
As the Commissioning Provider, JFPCS works as a third party to represent the owner in the design and construction process. JFPCS assists the owner in conveying the program of requirements to the design team, oversees the design and construction phases of the project, and functionally tests the equipment in order to ensure that the system operates according to the design intent. JFPCS also oversees project documentation and owner training in order to maximize owner knowledge at project completion. At the conclusion of the commissioning process, the owner will have a system that has been fully tested and includes functional documentation.
JFPCS has over two dozen Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) certified commissioning projects to our credit and over seventy-five non-LEED commissioning projects.
