Hermitage Base Lodge - West Dover, VT
The Hermitage Lodge is a unique ski lodge, conference center, and spa situated in the secluded Green Mountains of Wilmington, Vermont. JFPCS was hired to commission the building's mechanical systems. Systems for this building include large occupancy ventilation systems, commercial kitchen makeup air and exhaust systems, chilled water cooling systems, and air handling distribution systems. A snowmelt system encompasses the entries, patios, and outdoor spa area, protecting the structure from snow and ice.
Energy efficiency of the envelope and the mechanical system were an important part of the owner's project requirements. JFPCS, in partnership with Zero by Degrees, performed envelope commissioning as well as mechanical system commissioning for this 110,000 sf facility.
